I was internally debating on whether this should be a Sleepers entry or not, since technically Olivia Thirlby doesn’t follow the column’s code, being current and all. But then I realized that it’s such a trite thing to mull over, so I’m letting it ride.
Nothing to wax typist about here. Just saw an opportunity to shine the light on a dreamgal of mine, which I couldn’t pass over. Anyone who has been following my blogging saga since the first days of the old Barone’s World blogspot (all seven of you) should be aware of my Thirlby jones. There’s something about Olivia, can’t put my finger on it (**avoiding crude sexual pun there**). She’s been tops since my first Juno viewing, and has yet to be dethroned since……well, let’s clarify—-Eliza Dushku is queen; Olivia Thirlby, the heir.
Which leads us to the reason for this post: over at Ain’t It Cool News, they’ve just put up an interview with Thirlby, covering her upcoming projects, her beloved independent work, and her current work-to-promote, the dark ’80s-set comedy What Goes Up. Let’s get to know her a bit better…..
